During my bus ride to the Big Apple today, I FINALLY got to read my DIS handbooks on Copenhagen and I can't express how anxious & excited I am about my experience there. Still a bit nervous about pronouncing their real complicated looking vowels....but I have always been pretty good at picking up languages so hopefully I can at least pull off general greetings and whatnot.
Anyways, its great to be visiting NYC again. I love the hustle bustle and the rhythm of the city (although I didn't like the cab meter jumping to $6 just within a block! how ridic!!). Enjoyed speaking to the Bangladeshi vendor that I purchased my most recent obnoxiously huge shades from.
Hopefully tonight, I will discover some neat places to grab drinks from...my favorite thing about NYC; so many neat, cute places everywhere. SOOO excited for my excursion in the city tomorrow. Hopefully it wont rain!
